The beer bar Quimera is housed in an underground path to the Palácio das Necessidades, used as an escape route for King Manuel II when the monarchy fell in 1910. History aside, Quimera offers its own unusual beers on tap, ranging from a barrel-aged raspberry sour raw ale to a Brett IPA or a peanut butter porter."   • Wow, what a cool place! Build round the tunnel of a 18th century castlewall. Being a brewery in the starting pit, they have a great focus on the finest portugesian craft beers. We tried their flight of 3 beers, and then another flight... They had 11 beers on tap when we visited, 4 from their own brewery, and some on bottle. It was a slow night, so we got to talk to the hosts for a while, really nice people! We even got a fado by one of the locals :)

  • Best in Lisbon in fact. The beers here are delicious. At least four, but often six are their own brew. We had two flights and all six beers were up to standard. The server was excellent - knowledgeable and attentive. This is a great place to go for some top beer and good guac and chips.

Goed bereikbaar met openbaar vervoer, bus 714 vanaf Praca de Commerce naar Praca de Armada. Tradução: Cerveja artesanal bem fabricada , vinhos finos orgânicos e sanduíches apropriados. Os funcionários simpáticos e recepção de boas-vindas. O que faz um homem querer mais!? Para os amantes da cerveja uma visita obrigatória em Lisboa. It is a very creative use of a 1750 tunnel that led to a castle and now is the first brew spot with great New York style deli sandwiches. Adam is the owner and he has brought his 20 plus years of restaurant business and creativity with him.
